Welcome to my home! This is the first thing you see as you walk into our home- everything! It’s not a very complex house, it’s very open plan.
Our pretty front door was picked up the wreckers. I love the colours. I will definitely try to put stained glass into the house we one day build. It’s lovely to see the sun shine through it and light up the house in blues and greens!
Seeing the house like this makes me think about ways that we could change it a bit so that you don’t see everything when you walk in straight away. If you’ve got suggestions, let me know…

I LOVE your front door!!! I like stained glass scenes – even though I also think they are on the boarder of being very tacky too. I have no suggestions for the room though, I’m not good @ room planning, and I’m a clutterbug.

Love the front door it is stunning. The only thing I can think of in terms of walking in and seeing open plan is perhaps some screens, if you wanted to screen off some of your open plan living. You could make some screens using empty frames and using the hinges on them..to fold ..and then with your creative eye, you could decorate the screen, either with fabric or something else?
