Celebrate!!
So, I have some cause to celebrate!
Remember I said that I would do a giveaway once I made it to 100 likes/fans on facebook? Well, we’re a bit past that now, we’re up to 112! Thank-you all so much for likeing it there and sharing the love. I really appreciate it. 
I asked on facebook what people would prefer as a prize, and a bag was the definite winner!
So I’ve been busy this week making this cute thing for one lucky reader:
I only just finished making it tonight, and then couldn’t wait to snap some photos and put it up here!
You will also remember that back when I was doing the survey I promised a giveaway for those who participated and left me their feedback. Well, to thank those people you have all automatically been given an entry into the draw to win this bag!
If you’d like an entry into the draw then here’s some things you can do:
You can log onto facebook and leave a message in the discussion.
OR
You can leave a comment here answering the question, “What skill or talent do you wish you had?”
The giveaway will close in two (2) weeks on 18th May, midnight.
Technical Things:
This giveaway is open to EVERYONE- doesn’t matter where you’re from.
You can enter once via each method. For example, if you leave a comment and post in the discussion on facebook you’ll get TWO entires. But if you post two comments you’ll only get one entry.
If you don’t respond within 7 days of being notified that you’re the winner then the giveaway will be re-drawn.

Hmmm…i wish I was one of those people who could eat anything and stay in shape and didn’t hate jogging. I don’t know if that is a skill…otherwise I wish I could make my own clothes

I wish I could paint like my mother!!!
Also, I want to crochet…. I’m working on learning that.

I wish I had that ability too- would be so handy. I don’t know about you, but I never seem to find clothes in the shops that fit/look right on me!
@Clarissa Another make your own clothes! I wish I could do that too.
I definitly think that not hating jogging is a skill! I’ve just started jogging with the wii fit again. I do it while I watch cooking shows… :-S !!
@Mandy Ah yes, the eternal struggle when you have a talented parent!! I wish I could paint like your mum too! Lol.
You should totally crochet, you know Zoey Friend (Buma)? She crochets like crazy now and her stuff looks AWESOME! She makes cute little clothes for Mayana!
And with the quilting, you should join a craft group down there and just do it! The first quilt I made was just small, and it was easy because everyone at craft group was doing the same thing and we all helped each other!

Sewing well would be an awesome skill- I guess it just takes practice!?! I collect all the ideas of things I want to make here: http://sunshinetalia.tumblr.com, and they all go into my facebook page now too…

I wish I could paint and draw, I am creative in other aspects but those lack the skill. I can copy but I can’t just draw or paint something from scratch.

I wish I could sew, my mother can and instead of taking sewing at school, I took agriculture…which is helpful now I suppose as I live on a farm!!! But if I could sew, I could alter and make my girls dance costumes, library bags, cute dresses and the like…I’m thinking of buying myself a sewing machine…and teaching myself. I mean, how hard could it be…??

@Adalita I feel your pain- I wish I could draw too. And it’s exactly the same thing- I can copy fine, but just can’t seem to draw from scratch!
I hope you learn how to draw and paint!
@Famers Wifey You should learn!! It’s seriously not hard once you practice a bit! I always think it’s best to have a bit of a purpose when you’re learning though- like aim to make a really quick bag (sew up 3 sides, fold over the top and sew that down, add a handle… you get the idea), nothing complex- just something so that you’re not just aimlessly sewing!!
It’s probably a good thing you took Agriculture- but no reason you can’t do both now!!

I wish I could look in my Fridge and Pantry and instantly come up with something delicious for Dinner
