It’s like really violent snow…
The last few days we’ve had pretty physco weather, including MASSIVE hail where I work. Our car look really crazy now that it’s full of golf ball sized dints, and I have to call the insurance company to organise for it to be fixed.
In the mean time, I thought I’d show some video I took on Thursday.
I also wanted to tell you to keep your eyes peeled in this week coming, because I’ve got a special interview happening on Monday with the Creative Director of Lincraft Australia!
I’ve also been working on a little sm’thing something to give you each as a Merry Christmas/Happy New Year/ Thanks for just being awesome gift. Because, well, you guys are awesome. I’ve made such lovely friends through blogging, and it’s about time I made something for each and every one of you! Stay tuned for that one as well so that you download it (woops, is that too much information!?), on January 1st!
Thanks for visiting my site again! keep checking back for more updates!
An Ode to Clean Gutters
When I was asked by Vodafone what I wanted an infinite amount of, the choice was clear. Clean gutters. With all this incesent rain we’ve been having I am frequently reminded of how THE GUTTERS NEED TO BE CLEANED! (wink wink, nudge nudge LUKE).
*
So wolah! Here is my ode to clean gutters! Please tell me you can relate, and that I’m not a freak. :-S
*
*
Dear gutters, dear gutters, how you ruin my life.
You seem to have no purpose, other then to cause me strife!
The purpose you were built for, is not the one you serve.
In fact, the thing which you succeeed in, is getting on my nerves!
*
You’re meant to funnel water,
in to the tank we do not have.
You’re meant to stop the rain comming in,
and making me all wet.
*
But, you seem to like the leaves.
Perhaps they bring you joy?
You collect them in your little pouch,
And leave the rain no other choice.
*
It comes in through my windows.
It comes in through my doors.
It comes in at full rate,
leaving towels, soaked, on the floor.
*
Gutters, who’s job is it to clean you?
Who’s job is it to care?
Who’s job is it to get angry?
Who’s job is it to dispare?
*
It seems these jobs belong to me,
though I think this is unfair.
If I had my way then it would be you,
who would clean, and take care.
*
FYI: This post is in part ‘sponsored’ by the latets Vodafone completition (check out their infinite plans here), and in part ‘sponsored’ by my anger. Enjoy!
