Monogram Letter Decoration

Over the weeked I got stuck into some craft I’ve seen around the internet. One of the things that stood out to me was the Monogram tutorial on American Crafts (one of my favourite scrapbooking brands).

Of course, I didn’t completely follow the direction (when do I ever?!), but just got the general gist of it from looking at the final product. Mine’s a little different (I didn’t put any extra beeds in. I actually think I might make another one WITH the extra beeds to bulk it out and make the edges of the letter straighter… What do you think?

One a side note, THIS would be an excellent use for fabric covered buttons!!

You can read the tutorial on how to make fabric covered buttons here.

Hi Tahlia, I really love this idea and it’s something that would be great for the kids to do at school! A dear friend once gave me a hand stitched initial and I love it.
    ciao for now
