Felt Craft Tutorials

Have you hear of Pintrest yet? If you haven’t, then pop on over and start pinning stuff! I’m loving it for organising… everything! My username is sunshinetalia.

I’ve got boards for craft projects, clothes I want to make, each room of the house, scrapbooking and a few others!

The way it works is you pin images from websites, blogs etc. into different categories. It links back to the site you got it from, so you don’t have to worry about crediting images (it does it for you), or about remembering where you got the image from!

People can then follow certain boards, and re-pin things that they like!

Anyway, all this to say that this is my new way of collecting craft projects and inspiration. And all the tutorials I’m showing you today can be found on my craft pinboard! So without further ado, here are some great projects you can try, all using felt!

Christmas Tutorials

Ah, Christmas! My favourite time of year. I love the heat, eating mangos, making beautiful christmas gifts, seeing family, and all the Christmas parties! So many good things associated with Christmas time!

For me, Christmas fever has already hit, and I am busily bookmarking all the awesome Christmas crafts I want to do before December 25th! Once that date hits, Christmas is all over, so I want to make the most of it before them and get myself in the Christmas mood now!

I’m going to have a bit of extra time this year before Christmas, because Luke and I are rearranging our hours at work, and somehow I’ve ended up with the AWESOME end of the bargain. Luke needs to work longer hours to get his work done, which means I get to work SHORTER hours (so that at the end of the week it’s still costing the business the same amount). How lucky am I? Of course, this means I need to do more chores around the house etc., but I’m sure I can fit some crafting in too!

To spur you along in your creativity this Christmas I’ve linked to a bunch of awesome Christmas tutorials Lincraft has just released. You can find them all on Michelle’s blog, The Red Thread.

I also wanted to tell you about a Blog Hop I’ll be running over at We Heart Life in December. The idea will be that create a turorial for a Christmas decoration, card, present etc. and post it on your blog. You add it to the link (starting on the 1st of December), on the WHL page, and on the 16th we start voting for our favourites. The winner will be get an awesome prize. I just have to figure out what it will be!!
Stay tuned for that one!

In the meantime, have a look at some of these tutorials, there are heaps more available here!
