The Everyday Creative- Week 3

This week has been really good creativity wise. I’ve managed to do multiple creative things each day, so this week’s photo collection is really just a sample.
Other things I’m working on are a Christmas collage wall (to put the presents under, seeing as we don’t do Christmas trees), and STILL finishing off my rose/teacup quilt. I have also discovered a few unfinished Christmas projects from last year, including an embroidered Christmas Advent Callender, so you might see those make an appearance in the coming weeks!
Don’t forget that on Wednesday I’ll be posting up the details of the Handmade 12 Days of Christmas over at We Heart Life, so check it out then!
22 November: “Beach” iPhone case (buy it here)
23 November: Pretty Pepper in the flowes.
24 November: Packaging for the iPhone case I sold.
25 November: Video for “Gelato” iPhone case.
26 November: Photos of the Gelato iPhone case.
27 November: Card making
28 November: Practicing filming on the new DSLR
The Everyday Creative
Well, better late then never! I totally meant to post this yesterday, but out internet wasn’t working. Today it’s decided it would like to work, which is good, but annoying. Annoying because Dad spent time today getting stuff ready to fix it this afternoon, and then we we came home it was working fine… a bit embarassing.
Anyway, this week I’ve been on track with my creative endeavours. It’s ranged from drawing to cooking to sewing. I nice variety.

The everyday creative is a challenge I set myself in February 2010 to do something creative every single day. The purpose is to stimulate my creativity, do something with my creativity, appreciate the gifts God has given me, and use them in my everyday life.
The Everday Creative
I try to do something creative every day. It’s a challenge I set myself quite a while a go to make sure I was ‘doing something’ with my creative life, and not wasting my potential. I wanted to DEVELOP that potential, however small it may have started off as. I keep track of all these creative things over on my tumblr, but I wanted to give you an opportunity to share with me the creative things that you’ve been doing in your week. I would love to see them- it might give me the motivation I need to keep going with the journey!
The meme is called “The Everday Creative” for two reasons.
One, because its purpose is to inspire you to do something creative every single day.
Two, because it’s not about making super amazing professional finished product creative stuff all the time, it’s just about the ‘everday’ kind of creative. The new outfit or the way you plate up the meal at dinner. It’s about the scribbles you did while you were on the phone, but also the awesome things you made for you shop, or as a gift! It can be as big or small, as professional or unprofessional as you want! There aren’t really any rules! Just the ones you make up for yourself.
I would be honoured if you would stick a link down in the comments (I’ll add a Linky tool tomorrow) to a blog post you’ve written in the week showcasing your creative efforts. Either do a post like I’m about to do highlighting all the creative things you tried that week, or just hightlight one. Again, it’s up to you.
