Remember I said that I would do a giveaway once I made it to 100 likes/fans on facebook? Well, we’re a bit past that now, we’re up to 112! Thank-you all so much for likeing it there and sharing the love. I really appreciate it. I asked on facebook what people would prefer as a prize, and a bag was the definite winner!

So I’ve been busy this week making this cute thing for one lucky reader:

You will also remember that back when I was doing the survey I promised a giveaway for those who participated and left me their feedback. Well, to thank those people you have all automatically been given an entry into the draw to win this bag!

If you’d like an entry into the draw then here’s some things you can do:

You can log onto facebook and leave a message in the discussion.

OR

You can leave a comment here answering the question, “What skill or talent do you wish you had?”

The giveaway will close in two (2) weeks on 18th May, midnight.

Technical Things:

This giveaway is open to EVERYONE- doesn’t matter where you’re from.

You can enter once via each method. For example, if you leave a comment and post in the discussion on facebook you’ll get TWO entires. But if you post two comments you’ll only get one entry.

If you don’t respond within 7 days of being notified that you’re the winner then the giveaway will be re-drawn.

Late entries will not be accepted.

Step 1: Log into the facebook account you want to delete. Before you delete you might want to request the friendship of anyone you want to remain friends with.

Step 2: Click on “Settings” in the top right hand corner, next to log out. This will bring up a drop down menu. Select “Account Settings”.

Step 3: A big grey box will appear. At the bottom is ‘Deactivate Account’ select this.

Step 4: You’ll need to confirm that you want to deactivate. Fill out the feedback and select “Deactivate My Account”. This is as far as I’ve ever gone, so I’m not sure if you have to confirm via email etc. Let me know in the comments if there’s anything I’ve missed!

Yay for home internet and administrator access on my own computer.

I have to ask the question though, why has EQ blocked simple sites that have clip art imges i can use for school, and NOT blocked facebook (am also grateful for this)???

Our bedroom is the only finished part of the house, so everything else is just scattered in the enourmous space we have (it’s taking a bit of getting use to!) Mum and Luke are painting the last wall of the lounge room today, and then there’s the floors to do- but it should be done by the end of the week!! Then we’re on our way to doing the main area- kitchen, study, living area, dinning area. Which is exciting!

We had some great friends, Rachel, Aaron, Pete and Jordan who helped us move yesterday. Thanks guys!! Rachel did some cleaning as well, which was a real blessing! Pete took some photos of the move, which you can view here.

Oh, and Luke had a little accident in our car… no one’s hurt, but if you could all pray (or do just whatever you do!) that it doesn’t cost us heaps and heaps, and that it gets fixed quickly, that would be great!! Thanks. xox.
