10 Things…

I feel so tired. Even just a night like tonight- Big Band Theory/Stargate, Thai Food and cuddles on the couch makes me feel tired. Not in a physical, “I need to sleep” kind of way, but more in a mental way I guess…

So, these are the Things I’ve been thinking about lately:

1a. I feel so tired. Maybe I’m not eating enough good, healthy food? Not sure what I can do to remedy this though because we already eat home cooked meals a lot… :-S (though ironically [??] not night…)

1b. I’ve been doing a lot of baking lately. Sweet, sugary, fatty delights. This had undoubtably been my downfall.

2. I’m feeling more and more convicted to eat non-processed/sugar free food. This morning I had subway for breakfast (NOT a regular thing- just a lazy, one off kind of thing), and I looked at the food I was eating and though, “Wow, The eggs don’t LOOK like eggs, and the ‘sausage’ looks like a pile of tiny tiny bits of brown stuff. It’s been cooked once and then HEATED and put on some bread with cheese and sauce.” Needless to say I closed my eyes and ate the whole thing up. :-P

3a. How does one stay on top of the washing up!? I hate the idea of washing up every day. I’m probably not a very responsible person in this regard??

3b. I wanted to particpate in this week’s My Place and Yours, but my kitchen is too messy with dirty dishes. :-(

4. I like having friends over. We spent a lot of our weekend with our good friends, lets face it, best friends, Rachel and Aaron. It was delightful.

5. I want to accomplish more.

6. It’s silly to think this- I acomplish HEAPS. Maybe I need to do the opposite and take time for ‘me’ which doesn’t involve projects?

7. I can’t really do that though, cause I feel like just sitting there watching movies/TV/reading books is a waste of time? (am I insane?)

8. My parents are back from Cairns tonight. I am SO glad that they had a good time. I am also really proud of myself for making everything run relatively smoothly at work while Dad was gone as well. I didn’t even have any sort of anxiety/panic attack either! :-P

9. Hopefully this post isn’t completely idiotic…?

10. I’ve been watching parts of Masterchef online. I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT!!!! Why didn’t somebody TELL me how awesome this show it!!???!!?!

Thanks for visiting my site again! keep checking back for more updates!

Undeserving

Last night Rachel, Kathryn, Carmen and Jeff helped Luke and I clean our old place. And it really sunk in how lucky we are. For two things- our new place, but mostly for our friends. Not necessarily ‘new’ friends, but… kinda.

So this is my special dedication to Rachel, who helped with all our moving on Monday, and then when ‘the car incident/ accident’ happened on Monday arvo she was over at our old place cleaning! Then last night helped clean again. And we were cleaning for HOURS last night. And to top it off she buys pizza on the way back to our new place. She is ADORABLE, and I am indebted to her. Last night I realised how much I don’t deserve a friend like her- someone who is willing to sacrifice her time and effort, and time with her sister (Kathryn- who helped us clean), just because we’re friends, and I needed help. I am seriously in awe, and this little paragraph in no ways explain how grateful I am, or how much I am amazed at your commitment, friendship, loving heart, and specialness! I am seriously trying to find some way to thank you properly.

Oh, can I also give a big shout out to Kathryn, who was an excellent cleaner! She came over to clean, and I am very, very thankful!

Thanks to Carmen, who was the first one to help us clean, and when I had messaged her to ask if she could help she so quickly replied ‘yes’ and sounded so excited! You really gave me hope, Carms, that this whole cleaning thing would be okay. :-)

Jeff deserves a huge shout-out as well. He helped us clean all the places we forgot, and then after dinner, at our new place, he washed up!! I am so blessed to have a friend like that as well!!

Thank you to my husband as well, who did all the little things on the list I gave him yesterday- including the washing up, and finding some plates in a box. :-) And thank you Luke for taking responsibility with me for cleaning our old place. I really appreciate you and the way you look after me- especially when I have nose issues at night, and feel like I’m dying. I love you.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Oh, and thanks to Aaron for coming to eat Pizza with us and play Absolute Boulderdash. :-) haha.
