The problem I was having with my iPhone was that it wouldn’t connect to any wifi networks. I’d tried everything I could think of, and also tried all the suggestions from a friend, who is one of the people you might speak to when you call for help on your iPhone! None of his suggestions worked either, but the apple genius was very impressed that I’d tried them all.

Anyway, he said it was a firmware issue, and so I would get a new phone. I knew my phone was out of warranty- but hadn’t mentioned it to the guy, so when he looked up my account he told me I couldn’t actually get it for free ’cause I had no warranty left. I had tried to extend my warranty even though it was over back when the problem first happened, but the lady said it was a no go. This guy, actually being from apple, and not from the helpdesk etc. could work around it and instead of paying $250 for my problem to be fixed, I only paid $99 and now have warranty until the next iPhone comes out (totally can’t wait for this btw!).

So that was a pretty awesome thing to have happen. The staff there were so friendly and helpful. One girl was a little bit bitchy- but she was probably just tired…

The whole store is FULL of people though- everyone just playing on the computers and iPhones and iPods around… while we were in there a guy walked out with his new purchase- a macbook and all the staff stopped what they were doing, looked at him, cheered and clapped! Lots of the customers did too! I was a bit too shocked to clap as well, but it was an awesome thing to see.

So hello new little iPhone- you’re my third one in 13 months, so hopefully you last the distance. I don’t know what it is with my, iPhones and firmware issues, but they seem to go together.

As you may (or may not) already know, I am an addict. I love the stuff to death, and am more then happy to get other people addicted as well!

This should totally be a paid post… but isn’t.

So I am starting this new journey. I still work at eLA, for my dad, and I still have my degree and plan to do relief teaching next year, and what not. But this is just for some fun, and so I get the sweet discount!! But seriously, I am excited about this, and already had a few bookings before I have even officially started!

So I guess if you live near me, in my general vacinity, then you’re more then welcome to ask me about it, and I can order stuff for you, or you can have a party and get heaps of free stuff! I’m looking forward to playing lots of fun games at my parties, and giving out freebies- as they’re my favourite party of the parties that I go too! Oh, and if you could help me out be booking a party, that would be grand. I have to get 4 booked before I get my stuff- so time is ticking away!!

I’ve been doing Weight Watchers for AGES now, and in the count down to my own wedding I lost quite a bit of weight, and have slowly put it back on (mind you, the I only lost like 4 kilos, and that’s all I’ve put back on 9 months after the event). At WW (weight watchers) there are two plans, the points plan, where you count how many points you eat each day, and the core plan, where you can eat as much as you want- as long as you don’t over fill yourself, but only from a list of certain foods.

I’ve been on the points plan this whole time, but finally spoke to my leader, Cathleen, about what I can do to actually LOOSE some weight,  not just stick on this one weight. So she suggested changing plans- because I’m unsure of what I’m able to eat, I’m more likely to only eat the right things, and not just assume that I can eat something.

So I’m starting on the core plan today. So far it hasn’t gone all that well because today is Wednesday and I get a free lunch at work. Usually it’s just salad rolls, so I can just have a salad without the roll, but today it was fajitas. Luckily you get 21 points to use in the week ON TOP of your core foods. So I guess I will just put it into that!!

I’m also starting the etools thing, which is tracking online, and you can also put your recipies into it, and it will tell you how much a serve of it is!! Which I think is pretty cool.
