Sad Little Heart
The feedback for this blog is still open… if you haven’t left any yet, I’d appreciate you stopping by to fill it out.
My heart is a little bit sad right now. My FAVOURITE subject at Uni is the one I’m struggling most with… I don’t know why it is. I’ve had to re-do every task I’ve been given so far, because it hasn’t been up to scratch.
Take a deep breath, and breath…
In one of my other subjects, my core subject, I’ve been writing my assignment. Today I re-read it and it doesn’t even make proper scense. It’s due midnight Thursday. So I’m feeling a bit stressed.
***** UPDATE******
I stared writing this on Wednesday, but it’s Friday now! Gah- time has gotten away with me! I handed in that core assignment… I posted a ‘help me!’ message on twitter, and Carly replied! So I got it all checked over by her and Luke before I handed it in. So it does actually make sense. And it turns out I had just read it a few too many times, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought…
I am SO glad that we have 4 days off. I am planning on re-doing the drawings I’ve been struggling with, and also get some extra work doneĀ for eLA. My parents are coming over tonight (and possibly Hayden) for a (nother) Passover meal. It should be nice. We don’t have them over very often. We should probably do that more…
Quick question, how often do you have your parents over for dinner? My parents live seriously close- like on the same property, and Luke’s live about 15 minutes away, but we never seem to have any of them over. We definitely see them a fair bit- my dad at work, mum at weight watchers, and everyone briefly every afternoon when we pick up Pepper. Luke’s mum we see at church, and we go over there sometimes for dinner, and we see Luke’s dad every couple of weeks, either for dinner or just in the afternoon after work…
SO it’s not like we don’t ever see them… but I still feel like we should invite them round more?

Thanks for visiting my site again! keep checking back for more updates!

The Art of Persuasion…
I’m not a people person.
In fact, one could describe me as an ‘anti-people person’.
It’s not that I don’t like fixing problems or what not, I’m just not that good with people. I get grumpy and frustrated easily. So this is something that I’ve really had to work on and try to improve, and by goly, being nice to people works WONDERS!
So it has been my mission the last few days to be nice to people and not get frustrated with them. It’s hard sometimes, but I’m getting there! Of course, this is mostly relevant to work, but is sometimes related to at home and socializing!
In other news, my parentals and A-mon-o-me (Amon) came home from Myanmar, formally known as Burma. Click the links to learn more about it via Wikipedia, though it may romanticise it a bit… So here’s a little collage of the weekend…

1. The rose I picked from my parent's garden. 2. The new iron we bought. $100. 3. Luke playing the burmese harp my parents and Amon brought back from Myanmar. 4. The white gold and diamond bracelet my parents bought me from Myanmar as my graduation present. 5. Amon and Luke trying on Myanmarian clothes...
Of course, I also enjoyed taking lots of photos with Rachel, and catching up with Zoey and her family (including the always adorable Mayana!) randomly at M’ba.
