Scrapbooking…

Another post already!? Shock! Horror!

Saturday was a scrapbooking day at Rachel’s church. So we went along for a bit of scrapping fun!

I cut the letters out of paper and stuck them to the cardboard ones!

I wanted to do some journaling on this page. The Velum layer means you can read the writing easily, and also still see the photos. You can lift it up if you want to see the photos clearer.

After all that I realised that I need a few more supplies. A box to store my papers in, and something for all my other bits- stickers, diecuts, brads etc.

Thanks for visiting my site again! keep checking back for more updates!

Online Photo Printing

Of course they don’t PRINT online (that would be… impossible), but you upload them online and then they print out at your closest Big W store! Have you tried it?

BigWphotos.com.au is brilliant! I’m getting photos from out holiday (Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Switzerland, Hong Kong), printed and it is SO easy! Do you know what the best thing is?! You don’t even have to upload them! You can just take photos of facebook and flickr where you’ve already got them! How crazy cool is that? It makes it SO easy, because I’ve already spent heaps of time choosing out key photos to go on my facebook, and now I can easily select them!

Rachel gave me some beautiful papers and die cuts for my birthday. They probably won’t be used on these travel pages, but in my person scrabook- definitely!

I’m choose a few less photos, but it will still be HEAPS! I’ve noticed that the fashion with scrapbooking lately is to use whole photos, and to only have a few on the page. I’m not sure how I’ll go with this, cause my scrapbooking ‘training’ was back in the day, and we cut our photos up into shapes and what not, and did a whole lotta cropping! We’d be putting several photos onto the page! Evidence below (take into consideration that I did these when I was like 12…):
