She was given to me by an electrician…

Nearly two weeks ago now it was my 21st birthday party. Luke took the time to write out a speech, and I really loved it. So I wanted to share it with you all here.

Talia is like…

A Light Bulb

• she is bright
• she lights up my world
• I can press her buttons
• she was given to me by an electrician

11:30pm

• she’s always late

Chai Tea

• she’s a little bit hippy
• she warms me up
• I feel relaxed around her
• she’s so in right now

A Celebrity

• everybody loves her
• she’s absolutely beautiful
• she has a great sense of fashion
• I’m proud to know her

Blackjack

• she’s exciting
• she encourages me to take risks
• she can be expensive
• she’s 21

So I really loved this speech because people laughed during it, and smiled a lot, and I’m sure lots of girls were jealous that they weren’t married to the most amazing man in the world, who would give a beautiful speech like this.

I’m a Mum!!

Last Friday Luke and I brought home a new baby girl. Her name is Pepper. She is six weeks old, black, with little white toes!

We spent a fair bit of time yesterday bonding sleeping on the bed together. Pepper is really little, and gets cold easily. She is also keeping mummy and daddy VERY AWAKE during the night. So I am at work now, but very tired!!

Rachel and Aaron bought Pepper’s brother- Shadow, as well! So they have fun playing together. It’s nice to have them part of the same family!!

Pepper loves the attention she is getting, and loves playing with Misty as well. Check out this video I made of her:

My 21st Birthday Party!

So it was my 21st birthday party on Saturday night. I had a really fun time.

Thank you to everyone who came! It was made very special by the variety, and loyalty of the friends who shared it with me.

There is nothing quite like having friends to share your love and your time with. I would like to give a special things to Rachel, who gave quite a touching speach. Also a big thanks to Dad- who is always one of my biggest fans, and always manages to gush over me at exactly the right times (i.e: during speaches dedicated to me).

LUKE’s speach was very well thought out, and I am thinking that I will write it out (he gave me a copy of his notes- yes, he wrote notes!!), in a new post. I LOVE him SOOOO much.
