Pay It Forward, Backwards.
On Tuesday morning I got a cryptic little tweet from Kim asking if my mail man had come. He hadn’t come at his normal time, but by the time I came home from picking Luke up from work he had. I was super excited to see a package addressed to me!
You see, in February I participated in a little thing called “Pay It Forward” via Morgan & Kim’s blog, and this was the day I got my little handmade gift! I ripped it open (is there anyone who doesn’t frantically open parcels to see what’s inside?!) and I found a beautiful camera embroidered by the very talented Morgan, and a beautiful little letter typed on their typewritter. I was so excited I rushed down into the house, grabbed a hanger and nail and went straight to work making a place for it to hang. I think it’s meant to sit here, because this hole just happens to fit it perfectly!
What do you think, isn’t it beautiful!? I feel very lucky to have amazing friends like Morgan and Kim. They are an incredibly inspirational pair!

Don’t mind the cobwebs… must clean those soon!!

Everyone, it’s not too late to get something handmade by me! Just read the rules over on the original post, and either leave a comment or send me an email!
Thanks for visiting my site again! keep checking back for more updates!

The Story So Far
So the story so far with my internship is that I am suprised every day when I come home. Suprised because I am not busting to get out of there, crying, angry, or counting down the minutes till I actually finish.
Instead, I am leaving with a plan of what I need to do that night, getting it done whilst still hanging out with friends on occasion. I am smiling at the kids, and acting like a ‘real’ teacher. I just need to work on my sarcasm. 8 year olds don’t really get it and just look at me like they want to cry…. Haha.
Seriously though, Prac has been really interesting. I’ve only been going in 3 days a week (which helps to ease my stress), but I’m feeling confident as I start my proper, full time, internship next week. I’m spending the night this week planning and getting myself ready for Monday morning.
I’ve made a super wall, which is pretty cool, and we’ve done some fun lessons tracing ourselves and drawing in the bones, and watching real live hearts beating on youtube!!! (okay maybe not real live… but it LOOKS real!)
I’ll keep uploading my school photos to this album on facebook.
Heaps good wall I created…
